I thought it might be a nice idea to start things off by collecting a list of resources for the stoi-curious, toe dippers and first-step-takers. This is my personal take and closely mirrors my personal journey, but you are all of course invited to add your thoughts, recommendations and experiences below!
So, you have found this group, the page and were curious enough to open this post - that's great! It means you have set out on a journey of self actualisation that will bring you closer to yourself and help you face difficulties calmly. Even if Stoicism won't turn out to be your philosophy of life, it has a lot of things to offer psychologically, spiritually and even historically (if that's your thing).
But you may be overwhelmed by the vast amount of resources, books both ancient and recent, podcasts, talks, groups and so on, or you may be intimidated by philosophy and it's lingo - I know I was when I first started to get interested. With that in mind, I compiled a guide of resources that I think are particularly accessible, and will give you a good foundation of core ideas and practices.
